My favorite poem from class this week was called, "And What Do You Get" I really like that it's a play on words and that it really makes you re-analyse each word of each sentence. It says, "take double you from anybody's will"- which you can look at that and just think it makes no sense or it could possibly mean the letter "w" and that leads you to the word ill!

My favorite poem form the poetry we have been covering in class recently is The Scent of Verbena.
I think that the strange structure of the poem is relative to the growing intensity of the content, and it really brings your focus to the poem itself. In the begin of them poem, the author describes a man and his companion, the companion obviously holds a resentment against this man and the eventually kills him or says that he will die soon. I've never read a poem quite like this one. It's very eerie and unlike most poems, it involves the concept of revenge and murder.
